Nevada Gold Mines seeks a skilled and driven Process Maintenance Supervisor to join our Turquoise Ridge team. This critical leadership role offers an opportunity to work on state-of-the-art autoclave systems in a dynamic and safety-focused mining environment.

As part of one of the largest gold mining operations in the world, you’ll lead a team dedicated to maintaining the reliability and performance of essential processing equipment. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of achieving operational excellence and creating long-term value for our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and Develop Teams: Provide direct supervision, coaching, and mentorship to a crew of maintenance technicians, fostering a safety-first mindset and a culture of collaboration.

  • Strategic Maintenance Execution: Plan, prioritize, and oversee maintenance activities to ensure timely and effective completion of work orders, aligning with production needs.

  • Predictive Maintenance Management: Ensure routine and predictive maintenance (PM) activities are executed to optimize equipment reliability, prevent downtime, and extend asset life.

  • Operational Integration: Partner with production teams to develop and refine maintenance strategies, ensuring seamless integration with operational objectives.

  • Technical Oversight: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex equipment issues, leveraging your technical expertise to improve system performance.

  • Compliance and Reporting: Maintain meticulous documentation of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance maintenance efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

Job requirements

Safety and Performance

  • Proven track record in maintaining a safe work environment

  • Demonstrated ability to support team in achieving safety, environmental, equipment protection, and production goals

Experience and Education

  • 3-5 years of experience in maintenance operations required

  • Supervisory or lead role experience preferred

  • Technical training, diplomas, certificates, or a degree in maintenance or mechanics are preferred

Professional Skills

  • Strong understanding of role's contribution to overall business objectives

  • Excellent self-management and ability to work independently

  • Adaptable with the capability to adjust priorities as needed

  • Effective communication skills across all media, including clear and concise information delivery to employees and contractors at all levels
