Position Impact: As a key member of our HR team, you'll drive strategic initiatives that enhance our workplace culture, support talent development, and ensure organizational excellence across our Northern Nevada operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement effective HR strategies

  • Lead employee relations initiatives and conflict resolution processes

  • Conduct thorough workplace investigations and provide strategic recommendations

  • Analyze HR metrics to develop data-driven solutions and policies

  • Drive engagement, change management, and leadership development initiatives

  • Collaborate with specialized HR teams to ensure consistent program implementation

  • Champion safety and sustainability initiatives throughout the organization

Location: Based at one of our four Northern Nevada operations.

Job requirements

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; a focus in human resources is preferred.

  • Experience:

    • Over 5 years of comprehensive Human Resources experience, ideally as an HR Generalist or Business Partner.

    • Preferred: 2 years in labor relations and experience in mining, construction, utilities, or heavy industry.

  • HR Expertise:

    • Solid understanding of HR responsibilities and functions, with the capability to implement and manage company HR policies and strategies.

    • Proven ability to positively influence business outcomes by collaborating with management and anticipating industry needs, while recommending effective HR solutions.

  • Knowledge and Skills:

    • Familiarity with industry standards and procedures relevant to human resource management is preferred.

    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and approachable manner.

    • Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Proficient with MS Office Suite and related systems.

  • Safety Record:

    • A proven record of maintaining safety in the workplace is required.

  • Flexibility:

    • Ability to work staggered hours to support a 24/7 fast-paced operations environment.
